Hello,I'm currently facing a significant issue with my dad's Microsoft account, involving a security problem that requires 2FA verification. The challenge lies in the fact that both the associated email and phone number are inaccessible. The email is out of reach, and the phone number is from an old residence 20 years ago, making it impossible to retrieve.I've attempted to use the security recovery form, but my dad, being the account owner, doesn't have any recollection of the necessary details due to the account's age. 1. Re-create your mail folder hierarchy by dragging folders into place in the Folder list. Note that any folder you have created to group sub-folders but that does not itself contain messages will not appear in the Folder list and so must be created again.
2. Re-download the list of newsgroups from each news account.
3. Reset your subscribed newsgroups and download messages again.
4. Reset synchronization options on IMAP and newsgroup folders.
5. Edit any message rule that moves or copies messages to folders other than the Inbox.

Trying to switch to Microsoft account from local, unable to...

I tried that, more than once. I go thru the complete procedure of getting a new Microsoft account password, then when I reach the final step to key in the Windows password, I try my NEW Microsoft account password, and I get the same message-invalid password. No luck. Any other suggestions.
