Windows 10: account pending

I am setting up a new laptop and added an existing microsoft account my family. The email has been verified, but it is still listed as pending, can sign in. How do I get the pending removed? I want this account to be the admin on the laptop.***moved from Microsoft 365 and Office / Subscription, account, billing / For home / Windows***

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Child account pending issue.

I follow the steps you show, but the child account still keep pending n matter how many time he accept my invitation and log-in to this labtop.

What next can I do to solve the problem of child-account pending forever? It pass 2 days already to try.

Run the System file Checker to scan and repair corrupted system files.

Follow the steps to run the System File Checker

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Elevated Command Prompt. (If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow)
• Type “sfc /scannow” and hit Enter.
• Exit Command Prompt.
