Windows 10: Account's DOB swapped

My account and my son's account DOB got swapped that my account is treated as a child account and my son's account as organizer. When I tried to change the DOB, it got stuck and goes into an infinite loop of asking for parental consent but I am not an organizer of the account. Could someone help with fixing? I contacted microsoft support too and they were out of options too

Hi Mark, I think your hitting on my problem. I am trying to correct my dob in my microsoft account. I accessed this from a google search. For some reason my dob is set as 2017 and therefore has a child status. I was born in 69 and Im now unable to download
software updates for itunes and the like on to my desktop unless a I correct my dob. I will try the links you have suggested.

 

Can't change Microsoft Account DOB using neither method recommended my Microsoft

I want to correct my wife's DOB from 2015 on her Microsoft Account to prevent any restrictions for her using her laptop applications.

I have followed the instructions of:

The first method doesn't work because it thinks she is a child so I have to resort to the second method of adding her to my account as a family member.

However, on the family account list, it states her account as an adult. It won't let me modify the dob.

Questions:

1 - How can I correct her DOB if I can't do it through her account or through my family account.

2 - Why does on the 'your family' list on my account say she is an adult when her dob is currently set to 2015.
