    aCER 3900pRO pc CRASHES WHEN FEATURE UPDATE 2004 INSTALLED.


    Installing feature update to win 10 version 2004 crashes ACER 3900Pro PC.

    Message is windows missing files after reboot and unable to get windows started

    I was running this PC without any problems until I attempted the download.

    By the way, I have been reinstalling the OS many times. to get it going, each time i installed the 2004 update, it crashes.

    Anyone familiar with this?

    Windows Show Hide not hiding 2004 feature update

    Show/Hide has always worked for me. Yesterday I had about 10 updates show. I want to install all BUT the 2004 Feature Update, so hid that in Show/Hide. It shows as hidden there, but when I check Windows Update again the next day, it is still listed. Normally, it would not be and all other updates would be. Now all are there and I do not yet care to install the feature update.

    Any ideas / suggestions?

    Feature Update Win 10 Pro 2004

    The Feature Update Win 10 2004 appears to have installed successfully on my computer.

    It is listed in Settings, System, About.

    However, the Update has wiped out all of my previous Windows Update, View Update History which is now blank.

    Moreover, the Feature Update Win 10 2004 itself is not listed in Settings, Update and Security, Windows Update, View Update History.

    Is this important?

    And if so, how can it be repaired?

    AFAIK, update history is cleared after installing feature update. This is expected behaviour, nothing to worry about!
