    Acer aspire takes long to sleep and is unusable until it fully sleeps.


    Recently my Acer aspire 5 A515-43-R started taking up to 2 minutes to sleep after closing the laptop. The screen completely turns off, but the indicator light says it's on. If I open the laptop it stays off. I am unable to use it until the light turns orange. At that point If I open the laptop it automatically opens the login menu unprompted. If I had any tabs open when the laptop goes to sleep they are deleted. If I put my laptop to sleep from the start menu the problem still persists. Restart is also affected. Shut-down works like normal. I have tried to update windows and drivers. I have factory reset windows and the problem stayed.

    This seemed to have fixed the issue. By unchecking "Allow the device to wake the computer". I will keep everyone in this thread posted if the problem comes back.

    Waking from sleep mode

    Windows 10 Acer

    With Windows 10 (fully updated) and Acer Aspire R13 screen is filled with vertical purple and green strips when waking from sleep mode. This does not seem to happen shutting down and restarting. Any help would be appreciated.
