Windows 10: Acer laptop closed while performing a system update, Windows unable to load

I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-5046. It was performing a system update yesterday and the lid was closed accidentally. I opened the lid as soon as I saw it, and the update seemed to have continued just fine. The fans are set to max during system updates, and there was no stop in the fans, either. However, now whenever I try to load Windows, it comes up with a Green Screen of Death I run Windows Insider that has the error: "irql_not_less_or_equal" with the specific failure being: "ntoskrnl.exe". I have tried running Acer's Startup Repair many times, but that does nothing. I have tried resetti

Let us check the system Files.To do this do both of these:

• Perform System File Check (SFC)

Follow the steps:

a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open search Bar.

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

• run the System update readiness command. It detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, it may replace the incorrect data with corrected version available. Follow the steps.

1. Press Windows key + X.
2. Click command prompt (Run as administrator).
3. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press Enter key after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter.

Acer Laptops :are they crap ?

Acer makes a cheap prodcut period. They user lower end plastics, as well as assembly. (I hate working on Acer laptops)

If budget is an issue then get an acer... though for $50 more you could get a gateway that will smoke the acer in terms of quality.

For a laptop though i would suggest one of the DV7T's from HP or a Business class Toshiba/HP/IBM (not the lenovo branded, the Thinkpads)
