Acer laptop does not power on when unplugged (battery tests say ok)

I'm not even sure this is the right place to post this but I've been evertywhere including acer support community and they didn't get me anywhere. I have an Acer Aspire E5-774G-52W1 from late 2016 running windows 10 20h2 and over the past few months I have noticed it doesn't want to power on when unplugged. I can plug it in to AC and it powers right up and works fine. I can then unplug the AC and run it fine off of battery for about 4 hours as usual. Sometimes I can get it to power on by spam pressing the power button and it will sometimes randomly start up on battery. If I press restart when on battery sometimes it will power cycle a few times before powering back on.

I can tell this isn't normal behavior because I can hear the HDD screech noise as if it had power cut from it randomly.
The battery also loses charge very quickly while turned off and unplugged. Something in the order of 10% per day and it's completely off no sleep mode or anything is enabled. Fast boot has also been disabled. I tried the pinhole battery reset thing on the bottom of the laptop. Held it for 10 seconds.

Here's what battery info view says about my battery

I poked around inside to see of there were any loose connections and disconnected and reconnected the battery.

  2. Acer battery won't charge

If the laptop works without the battery then charger is functioning correctly. Take a cloth with a bit of rubbing alcohol on it (or some on-the-go alcohol swabs), and clean the metal contacts that connect your battery to your laptop.

Make sure to install all Windows important updates.

Install latest versions of your laptop device drivers you can download the latest device drivers from the device manufacturer or from your laptop manufacturer website.

    Step 1

    1. Shutdown your laptop.

    2. Remove the battery.

    3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

    4. Power on the laptop

    5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

    6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s ok if you only have 1).

    7. Shutdown the laptop.

    8. Insert the battery.

    9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.

    Step 2

    1. Shutdown the laptop.

    2. Remove the battery.

    3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

    4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.

    Step 3

Reset the System Management Controller. Use one of these methods to reset the SMC, which controls battery management, battery status light.

    1. Shut down the computer and disconnect the power cord.

    2. Remove the battery.

    3. Press and hold the power button for ten seconds.

    4. Reattach the battery and AC power adapter, then start up the laptop.

    Acer battery won't charge

What if the battery unremoveable? Should I disassemble and remove it? also there is a switch underneath the case and around the RAM slot that prevent the laptop to turn on when the case is open and without the charger. Is that the same as removing the battery? although when turned on with charger, the laptop still see the battery. Thanks

I took the report, the design capacity was 41.440 mWh but full charge capacity is now 25.752 mWh. Is it that bad? Before this happened I believe HWMonitor also show the same number with 38% Wear Level.
    Here's the report file

  4. Acer laptop does not power on when unplugged (battery tests say ok)

BATTERY for Acer laptop stopped charging after Win 10 update

HOW CAN I FIX -- Thank you.

Ever since my laptop had a Windows 10 update a few months ago, the battery STOPPED charging -- ACER laptop Aspire E-15 --

I was the following suggested fix online re accessing Deice Manager, tried the steps below but instead I am now getting message when mouse is hovered over the battery icon to say:
    255% available (plugged in) --
the first message before trying the fix was saying something like --
    Plugged in but NOT charging

STEPS I TOOK TO TRY TO FIX:
    • Open the Device Manager by searching for it or right-clicking the Start button and selecting Device Manager.
    • Click Batteries on the list to expand it and you should see two items: Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.
    Screenshot by Matt Elliott/CNET
    • Right-click on each item and choose Uninstall device. Yes, you are uninstalling your laptop's battery drivers, but don't worry because they will automatically be reinstalled when you restart your laptop.
    • Shut down your laptop.
    • Unplug the power cable from your laptop.
    • If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it. My Lenovo laptop does not have a removable battery. I tried skipping this step but it didn't work, so I removed the bottom panel of my laptop and then removed the battery by disconnecting
    it from the motherboard.
    • Put the battery back in if you removed it.
    • Plug in your laptop.
    • Power on your laptop.
    • Click the battery icon in the system tray and you should see that your laptop is plugged in and charging.

    ----------------

AFTER above steps all I get is the "255% available (plugged in)" text when I hover mouse over the battery icon

Please - SOS - Thank you.
