Windows 10: Acer Laptop no sound because of intel smart sound

so I restarted my laptop and it started updating then after it finsihe dthere was no sound either when my headphones were disconnected and connected and the speaker next to the clock had a x on it then i searched around on google and and one of these questiosn had a realtek driver installation wizard without the driver so i let it uninstall and restart my laptop and boom sound was back and then when i restarted again the sound was gone and so i used the installation wizard to get sound back so thats my story now can someone please help me to stop intel smart sound bus form installing and keep

Resolution

Open Device manager

In System devices > Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller

Right click and select Update driver

Select Browse my computer for driver software

Select let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

Select High Definition Audio controller and install.

 

Intel Smart Sound Technology

I'm having problems with sound drivers. Yesterday I had no sound at all and after extensive query, downloaded the RealTek audio driver which brought back the sound but now I am getting sound through the display when my headphones are plugged in. In device
manager I see a yellow triangle for the Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) and the device status under the general tab says "This device cannot start. (Code 10) The driver was not loaded because it failed its initialization call." I have tried to update the
driver but it says I have the most current driver. The other two options under the driver tab are to disable the device or uninstall the device and I don't know whether to try either of these options. Could this driver be related to my sound coming through
the display when headphones are plugged in? Any suggestions?

 

No Sound!!

I am having issues with sound on my mom's Acer desktop PC. I have troubleshooted the sound, and did as it suggested to do by turning off the sound effects. It's an Acer Aspire XC-603G that is listed in my specs. Where can I find an updated driver for it for this computer? It uses Realtek High Definition Audio.
