Windows 10: Acer Laptop- Sound Not Working

When I restart my computer, the sound shows as working in the taskbar for a second but then the sound options disappear and over the icon it has an "x" as if my sound is muted. I have done the Windows troubleshooting, confirmed my computer is fully updated, reset my sound settings, deleted the drivers, even factory reset my computer. The problem still exists. None of this fixed it. I have an Acer laptop Nitro AN515-46.Someone please HELP. I have a Macbook M4 Pro and never have any of these types of issues. It works like a dream, but there are specific things that I want to do on Windows. Won

Acer Laptops :are they crap ?

Acer makes a cheap prodcut period. They user lower end plastics, as well as assembly. (I hate working on Acer laptops)

If budget is an issue then get an acer... though for $50 more you could get a gateway that will smoke the acer in terms of quality.

For a laptop though i would suggest one of the DV7T's from HP or a Business class Toshiba/HP/IBM (not the lenovo branded, the Thinkpads)

No Sound!!

I am having issues with sound on my mom's Acer desktop PC. I have troubleshooted the sound, and did as it suggested to do by turning off the sound effects. It's an Acer Aspire XC-603G that is listed in my specs. Where can I find an updated driver for it for this computer? It uses Realtek High Definition Audio.
