    Acer Nitro 16 screen keeps freezing every time I load a game up.


    Hello,I was wondering if anyone had this similar problem as my situation but every time i'll try to launch a game like fortnite. My screen freezes and makes the sound where it changes monitor and back again and then able to hear the background sounds from the game in their main screen while the screen is still frozen.I have to always hold my power button to turn the laptop off and back on.I had many problems with this laptop with a lot of different blue screen errors but it's where I had a blue screen error of system_service_exception where it affected my screen now.I did check the minidump fi

    Black Screen on Acer Nitro 5

    Hello, I have been using my new acer nitro 5 and I just got a problem on it. I updated my computer, then I signed in and there was a black screen with my cursor. After a little bit, it showed the tool bar and my background but not my apps. If I put my
    cursor over the toolbar, there is just a loading symbol and it never stops loading. Please I really want help so I can use my computer again.

    Hi TN. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

    Go into BIOS/UEFI Setup to see if you can set the onboard chip to default. You can power on while pressing the Acer F1 or ESC key. Older models may use F2. This may be listed on the BIOS splash screen.

    If you don't get a display for the BIOS even, then I'd reinstall the Nvidia card and properly disable it in BIOS setup before removing it this time.
