Windows 10: Acer Nitro AN715-51 NH.Q5HSP.001 HD WebCam Windows 10 2004 not Working

Recently I finally received the Acer Nitro AN715-51 NH.Q5HSP.001. After few minutes of checking and connected to internet, system prompt for update. from Windows 10 1809 to 2004, in the previous version I never tried to open the camera app. Then after a day i opened the camera app and see it's only a blank screen. I asked at Acer support, even followed Acer Community on how to fix it, even tried the uninstall/reinstall. I even reinstalled the Windows 10 2004 clean install/format and downloaded all the drivers for this model from acer support even updated the BIOS from 1.02 to 1.29


There's once I installed the Acer Crystal Eye Camera it was fixed already functioning, but after few minutes the systems update prompted for restart, after reboot it goes back to blank/black camera again, and even i tried to uninstall/reinstall the Acer Crystal Eye Camera didn't work again.


The Acer did not provide any Web Camera Driver.



Please help me on how to fix this.

Acer Nitro 7 Windows 10 HD Camera Not Working

Acer Nitro 7 Camera Windows 10 HD Camera Driver not working

I already tried the Privacy Settings, the uninstall and scan for hardware changes, uninstall and reboot. All possible solution you can find today (before this post) you can find online.

Probably the problem is with the Camera Driver. In Acer support - download drivers there is no driver for Nitro 7. I already contacted the Acer Support. Seems Windows 10 is the one who automatically install the camera driver for this particular model.

Hope someone can address and finally fix this problem.

I really need the Windows 10 HD Camera Driver for Acer Nitro 7.

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51 laptop display bit depth (6 bit?)

So I'm trying to find out about the bit depth of this laptop's display.

Since this is an IPS display and not a TN one, I was expecting 8 bit depth. But when I checked the settings I got this:





But in the meantime, when I'm searching for the display modes, I get this:





Can anyone tell me what's up with this display? Is it 6 bit indeed?

 

Webcam not detected Acer V17 Nitro

I managed to solve a problem with my Aspire V17 Nitro camera problem.

I had next problems:

• no camera detected in device manager (error 43)
  
• When tried to install new driver, I've got error
• Automatic update of driver didn't help

To solve the problem:

• Open Device manager
• Find camera - my camera wasn't visible by default. Go to View --> Show hidden devices
  
  After that, I've got 4 different camera devices, all with driver error 43
• Remove all camera devices (2 was in Imagining devices, and two was in Camera)
• Download and install last camera driver from Acer webpage
• Restart computer
