  1. Acer Orbicam driver lost after deleting temporary files - was working after Windows 2020 update

I updated my Acer 3273 with windows 10, 2020 update from microsoft in the last three days.

All went well and my Acer Orbicam Webcam driver was replaced with a Microsoft equivalent.

But since deleting temporary files a microsoft function the drivers have disappeared and I cannot recover it via a driver update from online search or list of drivers on the PC. The camera has stopped working and Device Manage not longer finds a imaging device, just an "unknown USB device".

Microsoft provided it it is no longer available from Acer, so do not suggest going to the manufacturers website.

How do I get it back?

It was part of the update, so it should be available as a driver from microsoft.

I notice that most of the camera issues with windows 10 in the community forum have no satisfactory answer.

But I need my built in camera and do not have a driver available, how do I recover the deleted driver as it is not in the Recycle Bin?

    :)

How To Delete Temporary Internet Files And Temporary Files In Windows 10

    Hi Anup,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I would respond as follows:

    1. No, I have not installed any third party applications to delete Temporary Internet Files or Temporary Files.

    2. Yes, as mentioned in my message, I had chcked the relevant boxes for Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files before performing Disk Clean-up. But still the files won't delete.

Your suggestion is about deleting Browsing history. I don't have any issues with deleting Browsing history. It's about deleting Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files. Browsing history can be deleted via Internet Options or from the option available
in the Hub of Microsoft Edge.

Any help on how to delete Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards.
