Windows 10: ACER SWIFT 3 laptop crippled

Ever since Windows 11, version 23H2 was installed on my Acer SWIFT 3 my lap top has been performing like a 3-legged dog with gout. I uninstalled the update, but no better. Cursor new stutters across the screen until I restart have to do this numerous times per day. I also have dozens of 'Documents' screens come up. Any suggestions before I throw away the laptop and get an Apple ??

Touchpad not working on Acer Swift 3 Laptop

I have a one year old Acer Swift 3. Today I noticed the touchpad had stopped working entirely, meaning I can only use my mouse. Here is what I have tried:

- Updating driver from device manager (I cannot even find a driver for my touchpad listed, even with hidden devices shown)

- Finding a driver from Acer (no touchpad drivers listed at all for my model)

- Pressing Fn + F7 multiple times

- Restarting the PC

- Updating

I would be surprised if the problem was physical because I don't use my touchpad all that much, so wear after only a year seems unlikely.

EDIT: I have noticed that when the laptop is on the lock screen, it displays a warning that the touchpad is deactivated. This happens despite repeatedly clicking Fn + f7, and the touchpad showing as enabled in settings.

Multiple BSODs on laptop (Acer Swift 1)

The chkdsk displayed many problems with the drive file system.

Perform the following steps:

1) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
a) Health
b) Benchmark
c) Full error scan

2) Run HD Sentinel: (free or trial edition)
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Post images of each of these tabs into the thread:
Overview tab
Temperature
SMART
Disk performance

3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

Type: Y
reboot

4) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:

a: I get nothing on the health tab. I'm not sure if its due to my storage being eMMC (I had tried looking at my drive with crystaldiskinfo before and got nothing)

Thin, Light and Powerful

The new Acer Swift X (SFX14-41G) notebook represents a new segment within the Swift portfolio, the first of its series to come powered with discrete graphics, all at an impressive 1.39 kg (3.06 lbs)[3]. Its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, based on NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture, combined with up to an AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800U Mobile Processor and 16 GB of RAM offers creative professionals such as video editors or photographers plenty of power. True to the Swift family, all this hardware has been fitted into a metal chassis just 17.9 mm (0.7 in)[3] thin.

The productivity capabilities of the Acer Swift X are further enhanced by up to 2 TB of SSD storage, allowing all of a user’s work to be taken with them, and a fast-charging 59W battery that offers up to 17 hours[1] of use.

Vibrant Color Representation

The Swift X features a 14-inch FHD IPS[2] display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits[3] brightness and 100% sRGB[3]—enough for editing 4K video or getting photographs just right. Cool, Quiet Editing

Built with heavier work sessions in mind, the new Swift X leverages a fan with fifty-nine 0.3 mm blades and a pair of D6 copper heat pipes to optimize its thermal efficiency. A number of other innovations also improve the notebook’s cooling efficiency: an air inlet keyboard design expels around 8-10% more heat than a standard keyboard, and a stereo ring with an inclined plane sitting along the top of the fan delivers up to a 5-10% improvement in airflow.
