Windows 10: Acer Swift 3 Laptop stuck at 18% 0.4GHz CPU frequency

I have already tried setting power mode into high performance, changing maxiumum processer frequency yet it still won't go above 18%. The battery in the laptop recently died and won't go above 0% when I try charging it, so I disabled the battery through device manager thinking it was causing the issue, and it still persisted.

Touchpad not working on Acer Swift 3 Laptop

I have a one year old Acer Swift 3. Today I noticed the touchpad had stopped working entirely, meaning I can only use my mouse. Here is what I have tried:

- Updating driver from device manager (I cannot even find a driver for my touchpad listed, even with hidden devices shown)

- Finding a driver from Acer (no touchpad drivers listed at all for my model)

- Pressing Fn + F7 multiple times

- Restarting the PC

- Updating

I would be surprised if the problem was physical because I don't use my touchpad all that much, so wear after only a year seems unlikely.

EDIT: I have noticed that when the laptop is on the lock screen, it displays a warning that the touchpad is deactivated. This happens despite repeatedly clicking Fn + f7, and the touchpad showing as enabled in settings.

 

Cant change Maximum CPU Power in Acer laptop

I cant change Maximum CPU Power from advanced power settings. There is no option for changing cpu settings.



My laptop is Acer Swift 3 SF315-52G NX.GZAEY.002.

 

Multiple BSODs on laptop (Acer Swift 1)

a: I get nothing on the health tab. I'm not sure if its due to my storage being eMMC (I had tried looking at my drive with crystaldiskinfo before and got nothing)
