Windows 10: Acer VGA monitor does not support extended monitor feature

I'm using a Lenovo 300e TouchScreen, Win 10 Pro and trying to connect to an Acer v176l. The only way to make the monitor work is selecting 1280 x 768 resolution and it's only able to duplicate, or display external only. Extending the monitor doesn't work on any resolution. I'm using a UGreen HDMI to VGA Converter with Audio. The manual says it's supposed to work with a resolution up to 1920 x 1080 / 60Hz. I even tried plugging the micro-USB input because apparently this laptop is somehow considered a low-power ChromebookIs there any setting I'm missing?

solote allow two monitors but here I leave this possible solution

Step 1

Connect a monitor to the normal video card, using the necessary cable (DVI, VGA or HDMI). This will be the main screen, so place it directly in front of your computer's cabinet.

Step 2

Connect the second monitor to the alternative port of the video card, and then restart the computer. The PC will automatically detect the second monitor.

Step 3

Go to the "Show options" window by right clicking on the desktop, then select the "Properties" option. From there, click on the second monitor (which will appear in the drop-down menu), and then activate the "Extend my desktop on this screen" checkbox.

Step 4

Connect the third monitor to your original video card (if it has three outputs) or to another video card, and then restart the computer one more time.

Step 5

Go to the "Show options" window by right clicking on the desktop, then select the "Properties" option. From there, click on the third monitor (which will appear in the drop-down menu), and then activate the "Extend my desktop to this screen" checkbox

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
   

This issue might be happening because of the faulty drivers. That’s the reason you are getting intermittent connection on external monitor.

However, you may try the below suggested steps.

Step 1: Try connecting on a different monitor and check if the issue still persists.

Step 2: Try using a different VGA cable to connect with external monitor and check the status of the issue.

Step 3: Update display driver adapters

You may refer the article
Update drivers in Windows 10 and check the status of the issue.

Step 4: Check for an updated Video driver on the

Acer drivers and Manuals page.

Can't Extend Second Monitor "Input Not Supported"

Hi,

I just bought an Acer brand monitor, and my Laptop is also Acer brand, and then i connect the second monitor with VGA CABLE but when i want to try Display
"Extend Monitor" but instead appear notification "Input Not Supported" on my second screen monitor, but when I try
"Duplicate Screen" and "Show Only Screen 2" it is can run smoothly. And I've asked the team service this monitor does not need special drivers I've tried
"Upgrading VGACARD" Intel Hd Graphics but it just could not run in
"Extend Mode"

The problem just can't use
"Extend Monitor" on my new monitor I hope windows can solve this problem thanks :')
