Discus and support ACPI Power Button would wake the system up from S3 automatically. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My computer sometimes would enter a situation which it would be waken up immediately after entering ACPI S3.If it happened, only taking off the power...     ACPI Power Button would wake the system up from S3 automatically.


    My computer sometimes would enter a situation which it would be waken up immediately after entering ACPI S3.If it happened, only taking off the power adaptor can recover it.By using "powercfg -lastwake", I found that the source is ACPI Power Button.......And if I want to disable it by powercfg -devicedisablewake "ACPI Power Button", it reply that I don't have permission even I run it as administrator.Any idea?Thanks.

    Only the Power Button Wakes PC from Sleep - Laptop

    If your computer does not support Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI), the earlier steps may not be available. In this case, you have press the power button to wake the computer.

    • Open the Keyboard control panel item by typing keyboard into Start Menu.
    • Click the Hardware tab, and then click Properties.
    • Click the Change Settings button

      Note: This step requires Administrator access
    • Click the Power Management tab, and then verify that the Allow this device to wake the computer is enabled.
    • Click OK, and then click OK again.
