Windows 10: Acrobat PREVIEW makes Explorer crash/freeze

Good evening,The explorer preview of a PDF with Adobe Acrobat makes windows explorer freeze.There is a pop-up: I am using a french version on a french OS, translated it would mean "an internal error happened". So, to sum up as an answer to what I saw in different forums:This has nothing to see with the file's weight / length / etc.This is NOT related to any plugin neither in Acrobat nor Explorer.*"Repairing" the software won't help. Uninstalling the software won't help.uninstalling the software with Revo, making a deep clean, running a cleaner and reinstalling won't help.&

2. Since when are you facing this issue?
3. Did you make any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
4. What is the edition of Windows 10 that you have installed?
5. Do you get any error message when Acrobat crashes?

Meanwhile, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned in

Here are the answers.

1. Is your computer connected to any domain network? | Yes
2. Since when are you facing this issue? |
3. Did you make any changes to the computer prior to this issue? Past Few weeks we have applied the Windows update and the Acrobat Update.
4. What is the edition of Windows 10 that you have installed? 1709
5. Do you get any error message when Acrobat crashes? No

Could you also explain what does this DLL do?

Preview and thumbnails are not showing up in Windows Explorer, Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

We understand your concern. The PDF Shell component in Adobe Reader allows you to see the thumbnails of PDF documents in Windows explorer. However, it seems Preview and Thumbnails of PDF files are disabled. Please follow steps mentioned below to enable
the same.

1. Launch Adobe Reader.
   
2. Click on Edit in the menu bar and choose
   Preferences.
   
3. Highlight General under Categories.
   
4. Check the box behind Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer.
