Windows 10: Action Center Disappeared

Hi,


I've recentely noticed that the action center icon on my taskbar is completely gone, I tried calling it with Win+A but nothing happens.

I read several possible solutions including:

• Running the System File Checker tool
• Running the DISM tool
• Editing Reg. both in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explore and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
• Restarting File Manager from the Task Manager
• Re-registering the action center with the command: Get-AppxPackage % { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$$_.InstallLocation\AppxManifest.xml" -verbose }

And nothing happened.

The thing that I found to be the most suggested online was tuning on and off the icon via the taskbar settings but when I try to do it I am simply unable to do it because the situation is the following:



The Action Center seems to be active and I am unable to turn it off


The only possible thing remained is to format the PC I guess but I was hoping not to go that direction.

I don't know what to try to do next. I hope that someone could help me.


P.S.: I have the same issue on all three accounts in my PC

Mail notifications disappearing from action center

Hello.

In action center, if I have number of notifications about new emails I can only open one from all listed, all remaining notifications about emails will disappear from action center... can I somehow change this behavior?

Hi,

Let's follow these steps to disable action center:

• Click on Start, type notifications in the search box.
• In the list, select notifications & action settings.
• On the right side, click on turn system icons on or off.
• Turn off action center from there.

Action Center bugs?

I have a clean install of Win 10 1809 about 3 weeks old and already the Action Center is playing up. I have Youtube subscriptions that are sent to my Action Center and most of time the links are not opening, I click it and it just disappears from the Action Center list without opening the Youtube link. Could this be an issue with Chrome/Youtube and the Action Center or the Action Center itself?

Another issue when I open Action Center is that it very briefly opens from the left side of the screen before opening correctly on the right side. This is happening a lot more intermittently but appears buggy when it occurs. Is anyone else experiencing the same problems? If I recall links were not opening from Action Center in Win 10 1803 either...
