Action Center Is Gone

Hello,

The most common reasons why Action center is missing are due to corrupted system files or it is disabled. We'd like to gather more details so we can assist you better. Kindly answer the following:

Meanwhile, you may perform the following methods if you haven't tried them yet:

METHOD 1: Check if Action center is disabled.

You will not be able to see Action center if it's disabled. To check, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + I to open Windows Settings.
• Click on System> Notifications & actions>
  Turn system icons on or off.
• If Action center is disabled, set it to On.

METHOD 2: Run the System File Checker (SFC) tool.

This tool will scan for missing or corrupt files on your PC. Here's how:

• Open an elevated prompt. Press Windows key + X, and then right-click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:

sfc /scannow

Note: The scan may take some time, so be patient. Windows will repair any corrupted or missing files that are found. The scan results will be shown after this process is finished. You may refer to this
article for additional information.

METHOD 3: Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool.

It's still a good idea to run the DISM command, whether the SFC tool found errors or not. It will also help resolve possible corruption errors. Follow these steps:

• Open an elevated prompt. Press Windows key + X, and then right-click on Command Prompt (Admin).
• At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Action Center

Hi,

Let's follow these steps to disable action center:

• Click on Start, type notifications in the search box.
• In the list, select notifications & action settings.
• On the right side, click on turn system icons on or off.
• Turn off action center from there.
