  1. Action center not working, not being able to press the 'Devices' option in settings.

Hi! So i've run into a problem where i've followed all the instructions on here on how to fix my action center, didn't work. Basically what happens is, when i press it the gray unloaded window of it appears on my screen for a split second. Then it disappears. I tried restarting my laptop many times, nothing. I followed a few of other moderators instructions like going into command promt and doing something there, it didnt work. This problem appeared only yesterday evening after i fully shut down my laptop then started it again. At first i only wanted to turn down the brightness of my laptop

    :)

No button for bluetooth in action center

    Joe,

Assuming that you have a Bluetooth card, run these checks -

Do you have a Bluetooth entry in Settings, Devices?

If not then Windows does not think you have a Bluetooth card. Check Device manager for a Bluetooth group.

    1. If neither of these is there then you do not have a Bluetooth card or you have disabled Bluetooth in the BIOS. You should check your BIOS for a relevant entry but BIOSes vary so I cannot suggest where such a setting might be. You could seek advice from your computer maker or their user forum.
    2. If one is there but not the other then you might be able to get it working correctly by reinstalling the driver from your Computer / Bluetooth card maker's website.

You can customise the items shown in Action center but Bluetooth, if it is enabled, is generally put there by default. As explained above, you can customise what is shown by playing around with Settings, System, Notifications. You can add more entries or you can drag off existing entries or you can drag existing entries around to get them in the layout you prefer.

Add the Touch Keyboard Icon to the Action Center

    Hi Doug,

Adding the touch keyboard on the items in Action Center is currently not available in Windows 10. However, you can change the settings to automatically show the touch keyboard when you use the device in tablet mode. If you'd like to do this, you can
    follow these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Open Settings.
    • Select Devices.
    • Go to Typing.
    • Under Touch keyboard settings, switch on Automatically show the touch keyboard in windowed apps when there’s no keyboard attached to your device.

If you want to provide a feedback or suggestion to Microsoft to have the touch keyboard available in Action Center, you can post it
    here.

Let us know if the suggestion above works for you.

    Keep us posted.
