Windows 10: Activate Windows 10

We have been using Windows 10 for over 2 years now. I have upgraded the hardware several times over the last two years with no problem. This time I replaced the second HD and decided to do a reinstall (like I have twice over the last 2 years) but for some reason this time it will not reactive.
Can someone tell me what to do, to move forward? Thank you.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
