    Activate Windows issue after last Windows update


    After the last Windows update that occurred a day ago on my pc that included KB4586786, KB 45800980 & KB4586863, I now have a message in the sys tray that says I need to activate Windows. This is the same PC that I have been using for about 4years and I have not made any hardware changes nor installed any O/S updates/changes in years.

    I tried the trouble shooter and selected that I updated the hardware which then allows me to select the machine name and check off "This is the device I am using now" but when I click activate, I get "We can’t activate your copy of Windows as the digital license for this device has already been used to reactivate Windows. ?

    What should I do here?
