    Activating Windows 10 with an 8.1 key


    I have a valid Windows 8.1 key that has never been activated or used, when I attempt to use it to activate Windows 10 it won't work. Is there a way to make it work? As I am hard of hearing I have no way to call support and get their help over the phone.

    I won't buy a key, stupid.

    I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

    When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?

    the iso i got on my google drive doesn't need a serial to install, it just installs and then u activate it, when windows is started.
