Windows 10: Activating Windows 10

Recently, I built a new PC because my older one was breaking down. I install windows 11 on it and it works fine for a while, until it just breaks and will not open. I tried reinstalling windows and going back to a restore point, and both got errors, so I ended up formatting and installing windows 10. I can't activate it because I don't have a windows 10 key, nor do I have the 11 key I got anymore. I don't want to spend more money on windows, and I know that if I was downgrading from windows 11 it would maintain the key, so I was wondering if I could get a new one for windows 10 without spendi

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
