Windows 10: Activating Windows 10

So today i built a new computer since my old system was outdated and i used imaging software to transfer data and files from the old hard drive Which had windows 10 activated and it was a free upgrade from windows 8.1 to the new one. As i loaded into my PC it said i had to activate it and i read that all i needed was the to link the old activated windows 10 to my microsoft account so it was. However when it try to activate it it says error 0xc004f025. When troubleshooting it says no devices available to activate this device.


Any help would be appreciated, thank you

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
