Windows 10: Activating windows 10

I used CCleaner last night to remove duplicated files or games. I didn't really touch the files in my C drive os drive but maybe I did. I booted up my computer today and I have the watermark on the screen; but i still had my background and theme none of the normal ways worked to fine the product key. I had to do this notepad method How To Find Your Windows Or Office Product Keys? pcrisk.com - that worked and I got my key, but windows says "the product key you entered didn't work, Check the product key and try again, or enter a different one. 0x80041023".Am I f*cked here and have to buy

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
