Windows 10: Activating windows 11 after switching over from had to ssd

Hello, I recently built my own pc and I was waiting on the last part to come in ssd. While waiting, I figured I could boot it up and download windows onto my hdd and then transfer it all over once I got my ssd. The ssd finally came in and I was able to transfer everything over fine. However, after a couple days it is now prompting me to activate windows in the bottom left. Even though I went into bios and file manager and can see that windows is on there, and that my pc is booting up with the ssd as the top priority. Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

 

Activation of Windows 11 on a new SSD is failing.

Thank you for the response and detailed steps! Unfortunately that didn't resolve my issue. I'm as confident as I can be that this isn't a software issue as I've performed roughly 10 clean installations of Windows 11 so far on both SSD's whilst trying to get to the bottom of this. One SSD has never activated after a fresh install, the other activates every time after a fresh install. The mystery continues!

 

Recently switched SSD's, but Windows isn't activating?

I recently switched between NVME drives. I had gotten the pc ready made some time ago and to my knowledge, an OEM key was installed by the manufacturer, of Windows 11 pro. I read that only motherboard changes cause the key to not work, but to no avail. When I open up my previous SSD, it shows that it's activated and that "My account has a digital license of this version". Even when I removed the product key from that SSD, and tried to sign in from the exact same account using the exact same key, it still shows that I do not own a digital license or product key with Windows 11 pro activated. Need help, please
