    Activating Windows11 with Parallels


    I’ve tried to activate Windows 11 via Parallels on my MacBook Pro M3 but am stymied at the window where I need my current Windows log-in password that i use on my Dell. I’ve been using a pin and of course, don’t remember current password. Any remedies for this? Thanks in advance!Current Windows machine is a Dell, running Windows11, Home.Would like to use Windows11 on new MacBook Pro.Downloaded and installed Parallels where Windows11 is also installed from. Can’t log-in with current password because I forgot it as I was using pin.Thank you

    You will need to use the activation troubleshooter, as Windows has detected that you are now using the same license on different hardware (Parallels vs Bootcamp), please follow the steps in this article:

    Unable to activate Windows 10 in parallels

    I transferred a valid and activated copy of windows 10 (free upgrade from Windows 7) to Parallels on my Mac. The copy in Parallels though says it is not activated. How do I activate this VM?

    The original windows computer is now switched off and not used, but is a windows 7 virtual machine in Parallels on this Mac.

    Hi I used windows 10 on parallels software and now I have to reinstall it on a new MacBook and parallels. How do I transfer the activation key. I have upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8 during free upgrade. Thanks
