Windows 10: Activation and update

Hello!I bought used desktop HP Z440 about two years ago. It has installed W11Pro. Version of Windows is 22H2.And yes, I found out that processor was old Xeon E5 1603 v3 and Bios was old. Updated Bios and bought new processor Xeon E5 1650 v4 but still update page tells that I should get newer version, and the service is ended.Is this so under capitalism that you should buy new computer every three years?I cannot find under activation page trobleshooting, what should come after made changing to the system.

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Activation and Updates

I have Comodo Premium Anti-Virus and Firewall installed. Would this be sufficient to disable Windows Defender? If so, what steps should I take to permit Windows Defender to bypass Comodo Anti-Virus and Firewall and become able to be activated?

I just deactivated Comodo Anti-Virus and Firewall, but to no avail. I still could not activate Windows Defender. There has to be another cause. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would be very interested.
