Windows 10: Activation Code Lost

I just got a new computer ( Self- build, so no company to contact for the key ) and I was sure to link my windows to my account. When I finally had time to transfer all my stuff to my new computer and finally use it I quickly had a problem. My windows needed a key to work. I wasn't really prepared for that because I thought that having windows linked to my account would also transfer the key so it wouldn't be a problem. Sadly, that isn't the case now. The real bummer is that the code I bought is physical ( It came with the CD ) and I spent a lot of money on that. To be truthful, I lost it and I don't really now where to find it. Is there any way for me to recover my key digitally? ( because my account is linked? ).

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
