Windows 10: Activation Not Working

I purchased a prebuilt pc which had windows installed but not activated. I wanted to activate it but the windows store only let me buy windows 10 pro. So I went online and bought windows 10 home, because I did not need pro. But, now I can't change product key or install it and my windows is still not activated. Does anyone know how I can activate it using my new code?

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows activation doesn't work

Hi Michael,

This might be caused by Windows Firewall issues. We'd like to know where you bought the activation code. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest turning Windows Firewall On. Follow the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Click System and Security then Windows Firewall.
  
• Then on the left panel, select Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
  
• Select Turn on Windows Firewall, click OK then restart PC.

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
