Windows 10: Activation of Win11 Clean install with Win10 product key doesn't work

Hi, I'm located in The Netherlands and running licensed Win10 Home English.I have 2nd Hard drive on which I want to do a clean install of Win11. Just to get used to Win11 and migrate slowly, app by app, to Win11.My PC meets all the requirements for Win11 and I had no hardware upgrade in between.I used the MediaCreationToolW11 tool to create an USB boot drive ....2 different ones.One USB boot drive for Win11 Home EnglishOne with recommended settings for my PC then I get Dutch, which don't want, I always use EnglishWhen I use the first one to install Win11 on my 2nd hard drive, everything go

Windows 10 Education N, product key doesn`t work

hello

I download windows 10 Education N (polish) and I successfully installed it but the product key doesn`t work (0xc004f050)

what should I do with it?

 

Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:

• Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
• When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
• Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
• When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
• This time enter your product key
• When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
• Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it

Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.

Using Win7 key to activate Win10 is valid for clean instalations?

Take a look at this answer that I'll quote as well:

You can wipe your system just fine and it will be activated automatically.

As @Joy said, once you activate your product key for Pro version (and it works) it will reserve your Windows 10 Pro activation for your system (*ignoring whatever the version you had product key*). Otherwise, it will show invalid product key and reject to activate it.

If it shows as activated with Windows 10 Pro, there is no need to afraid of invalid product key.
