    Activation problem


    Hi - I took the free upgrade from Win7 to 10. All worked fine. After a few weeks I now get the Activate Windows watermark. When I try to do this is settings in update and security nothing happens. When I go to Store - I get the something happened, unable to restore.

    I have changed the keyboard since the upgrade - would this be the reason I cant upgrade. I have not changed the motherboard or made any other changes

    Can't Activate newly purchased windows 10 home

    hi, I used the usb boot tool and installed windows 10S on my laptop. I realized I couldn't download anything not from the app store so I purchased windows 10 home. I was given a product key but it is not accepted in the activation settings. Just trying to
    get this laptop operable.

    Activation problem

    From an elevated ("run as administrator") command prompt type:
    slmgr /dlv

    Post the results here and we can help you more.
    Also which exact version of Windows 10 are you running?
