    Active Directory Administrative Center - AD groups not opening


    Hi all! I have an issue where I am unable to open groups via Active Directory Administrative Center on a Windows Server machine, no error but just hangs instead, no window opens visibly but does show a dead window when you hover over its icon in the taskbar. Doesn't affect all users, and attempted restart as well as a repair using software center. Any ideas?

    Active Directory Administrative Center

    Just got a new computer with AD Admin Center 2017 installed.

    Issue: If I have a group open, I cannot double click on one of the member groups to open them. Error message pictured below appears.

    Guessing something needs to be enabled or a path changed somewhere. Any ideas?

    Problem adding printer due to Active Directory Domain Services

    Hi,

    The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable occurs when a new printer gets installed and the system is looking for the printer's driver. You can try the following steps below on how to add the printer nd see if it will resolve the issue:

    • On the search bar, type troubleshooting and press Enter.
    • On the left pane of the Control Panel window, click
      View all       to view the list of apps.
    • Look for the Printer from the list then right-click on it.
    • Select Run as administrator.
    • After doing so, try adding your printer again.
