Windows 10: Active threats have not been remediated and are running on your device.

Hello, I looked on the internet but couldn't find a solution to this problem. I ran Malwarebytes and discovered no virus, however the warning remains in the protection history. I'm running on Windows 11 Pro. Any assistance would be much appreciated.Detected: Trojan:Win32/Conteban.A!mlStatus: ActiveActive threats have no been remediated and are running on your device.Affected items: file D:\Downloads\Evon\Evon.exe process: pid:26992,ProcessStart:133107247476620199

I have a problem where it says Active threats have not been remediated and are running on your device

I cannot remove it for some reason, I've pressed the actions and pressed remove, quarantine but it did nothing if anyone has any idea how to fix this please help me thanks

 

Windows Defender/Security - no option to "Allow" potential threats?

If you want to control what does defender do to threats you can do it trough GPO in the following location:

Computer configuration\Administrative templates\Windows components\Microsoft defender antivirus\Threats
Here configure option:
Specify threats upon which default action should not be taken when detected

Threats are categorized by level, you assign default action per threat level.

EDIT:
Btw. to open GPO (Local Group Policy) follow these steps:

1. click on start button
2. type: gpedit.msc
3. right click on gpedit.msc and run as Administrator

 

Windows Security Protection History-remediation incomplete

Windows 10 security found two trojans that are now listed in my protection history as severe-remediation incomplete. And yet my virus and threat protection shield icon has a green checkmark. What if anything should I do? Why does it say remediation incomplete?

A manual scan by Malwarebytes identifies zero threats.
