Windows 10: Active window in Virtual desktops doesn't automatically switch

when using virtual desktops i switch back and forth between messaging programs and entertainment programs, before today i was able to switch desktops and the active window would change to the most recent in the desktop that i am viewing,

such that i could press space to pause media playing, switch desktops and immediately type in the text box of a messaging app before changing desktop back and pressing space again

now i must press space, move desktop, *CLICK* then type, then switch desktop *CLICK* again then press space, if i fail to click to change the active window i end up typing space or any other navigation keys into the textbox of the messaging app

i have found a very temporary work around using the ease of access centre where in mouse settings, hovering over a window for x time will automatically make it the active window but this get's in the way when doing other multitasking so is not a good option

can anyone let me know if there is an update to fix this already, if it is something that should be reported as an error, or if there is a new setting i have to find to fix it

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I have a written a program which enhances Windows 10 desktops and works around this issue for you by detecting the switch to a new desktop to open the existing document and then open of a new document - it then moves it back where it belongs.

• Switch desktops using arrow keys with configurable modifier keys
• Move active window to another desktop using keyboard
• Make windows Always on Top or Sticky using keyboard

• Chrome/Firefox activation to make web links open on same desktop if window exists
• Word/Excel new window detected and moved back to current desktop if auto-switched

Virtual Switch Manger Unable to Create Default Switch in v1809

After upgrading to v1809 I turned Hyper-V feature Off then On. Since then the Default Switch no longer exists and the Virtual Switch Manager is unable to crate it automatically as it would normally. I can see the Default Switch appear for a few seconds in the Network Adapters, then its gone. This happens several time whenever I launch the Virtual Switch Manager.

I can create other virtual switches.
Once the Virtual Switch Manager lists the Default Switch with a Load Failed message.

I have used netcfg -d command and Turned Hyper-V feature Off/On several times with no success.
