Windows 10: Actually transparent taskbar (finally)!

My Windows 10 system just took the 2004 update and guess what, I notice that my taskbar's gone completely transparent! It usually can be set to translucent which is nice, but now there's no edge between the bar and the rest of the home screen window - looks very aesthetic to me.

Must add that this seems to be a buggy addition because it will often revert to the translucent version if, for example, I resize the taskbar or add a toolbar. Resetting the transparency option on 'Personalization settings' does the trick then for the time being.

Tell me what you folks know about this!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I will surely assist you with this.

I would suggest you to change the desktop themes and check if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

If that doesn't help I would suggest you to end the explorer.exe and restart it and see if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

Please follow the steps below to restart explorer.exe:

stop and start Explorer.exe

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

And see if it helps.

Taskbar Transparency Issues

Prior to my issue, just letting people know that I am not using any build from the Windows Insider previews.

I've just resetted my PC due to some issues, and I'm just configuring and personalizing some of my desktop settings. I'm trying to enable transparency settings for the taskbar / some applications. By default, I believe enabling the transparency settings
should enable transparency for the majority of apps, including the taskbar. However, my taskbar remains a solid color. I've seen some solutions online that involves pasting some lines of code in powershell, but I don't want to go that way. I also find out
that this has been a problem for quite a while now for some people. Are there any real solution to this that doesn't involve any regedits/pasting codes?

Personalization Settings for Colors for "make Start, taskbar and action center transparent" is not listed

I'm a tad confused. :/

I have Windows 10 installed on a PC at work and two PCs at home (Home and Professional).

But on my home PC the Personalization Settings for Colors for "make Start, taskbar and action center transparent" is not listed, but "Transparency effects" is listed and On; however this doesn't result in to the same
Transparency of the Start, taskbar and action center screens.

Why are the Settings options different or configured and listed differently on PCs running with same version of Windows?

How many variations are there?

Where is the definitive help (when "Find a setting" shows options that are not available in reality).
