Windows 10: AD integration is not working in windows server 2016 IIS

Hi, we have Asp.Net with MVC, C#, SQL database web app, which was hosted in IIS windows server 2016. It was working fine with forms authentication initially. Recently, we have implemented AD integration, but when the user login into app with AD credentails, Application End event is firing. Could you please give some suggestions to resolve this. Please find the screenshot as below.

IIS 10 setup in Windows Server 2016

I am adding IIS role to windows Server 2016. the server comes with .net framework version 4.7.2 . In the adding role wizard, it shows ASP.NET 4.6 option available. I also have windows 10 machine. It has .net framework 4.7.2 installed separately. When
I add IIS role, it shows ASP.NET 4.7 option in the adding role wizard. I would like to understanding what different between ASP.NET 4.6 and 4.7. Is this OS related? Thanks.

 

Hijack iCloud integration to access to CalDav server.

I have just got a Windows Phone (Lumia 630, WP8.1).

I need to access a 3rd party CalDav server, but it seems that there is no generic CalDav support.

However, a bit of searching suggests that setting up iCloud integration and then changing the address of the CalDav server to point to the one that you want should work.

So I...

• Set up iCloud integration.
• Checked that calendar integration worked both ways.
• Changed the CalDav server address to point to 3rd party CalDav server.

This half works:

• I can create an event on the phone, and it get's written successfully to the calendar on the server.
• But I can't see any events (including the one I just created) from the phone.

Has anyone got this approach to work successfully, or have any suggestions as to what to do to get it all working?

 

Windows Server 2016 Upgrade

When updating from windows server 2012 R2 to server 2016, I'm not getting the step by step procedures where you can select keep file and apps and other steps. I just get the setup screen, which after couple of minutes it display a window to select what type of windows server you want to install.

Once selected it does a full install of windows server 2016, which re-images the C drive. Afterwards you have to re-install all your applications.

Any suggestions on why it doesn't go through the step by step procedures.
