Windows 10: add a shrink windows button in a specific area on taskbar

have this button on the taskbar [green arrow] it shrinks my windows to the task bar, it allows me to see the desktop. I want to add another button just like it to the other side [red arrow] either in the ^ box or next to the volume. I tried to create one on the desktop and move it to that position no luck, tried a shortcut no luck, tried to move the one under the green arrow over to the red, no luckHow do I create this shrink button on the taskbar in the area of the the red arrow? thank you

Shrink window caption buttons w/o shrinking taskbar tray icons?

I found this tutorial on how to shrink the window caption buttons (minimize/maximize/close) by tweaking the registry. However, as anyone who uses it is aware, changing the caption button sizes also changes the taskbar tray icons, so by shrinking the caption buttons to a more sensible size you end up with tiny taskbar icons.

Does anyone know of a way to shrink the caption buttons without also shrinking the taskbar icons?

 

Volume button is invisible on taskbar.

You can customize which icons to appear on the taskbar. Based on the information you have provided it possible that the volume was not set to appear on the taskbar. To customize the taskbar notification area, you can refer to the steps below:

• On the Start menu, type Settings, and then hit Enter.
  
• Under Notification area, click Select which icons appear on the taskbar.
  
• Click Volume button to toggle it on or off.

Heya, thanks. And yes, that’s the exact tutorial I referenced in my post, which doesn’t work for me because it shrinks the taskbar tray icons. If it isn’t supposed to change the icons’ size, then I’d like to know how to stop it happening on my end.
