    Add automatic detection for HP/Compaq USB Multibay FDD


    I had to manually select a driver for my HP/Compaq USB Multibay FDD in Windows 10, it was able to be automatically recognized in XP, so I was wondering if the support could be added again. All it would need, I think, is to add it's Hardware and compatible Ids to the HP USB Floppy device, in the USB Controllers category of devices. I can provide whatever info is necessary for it to be added to some list of things to be fixed in windows.

    Windows can't detect second monitor connected through USB

    I'm trying to run a second monitor (HP1740) on my HP Compaq dc7900 running Windows 10. There is only one VGA port, so I've connected with a USB-A to USB-B cable. Windows does not detect the second monitor. Any suggestions?

    USB-FDD acronym

    Hi Pavlos

    USB = Universal Serial Bus

    FDD = Floppy Disk Drive

    A Floppy Disk is an old format and rarely used these days, you are probably seeing that in the Boot Menu in BIOS, that is no longer an option to choose . . .
