  1. add global group to remoteapp programs user assignment

When I try to add a global security group to a remoteapp program I recieve an error "ensure that a two-way trust exists for the domain"But it is a single domain. Only thing is that the server can only use a RODC DC as it is in a DMZ

    :)

    Show Local users and Groups

Hello Frank, and welcome to Ten Forums. add global group to remoteapp programs user assignment :)

If you have the Windows 10 Home edition, then it will not have Local Users and Groups (lusrmgr.msc) included in it. It's only available in the Pro and Enterprise editions instead.

If you like, you could use step 3 in OPTION THREE of the tutorial below list users in a group.

Popup windows hidden behind main window in RemoteApp programs from Windows Server 2016 on Windows 10 clients

    Hello,

    in my company we have published a third party Application as RemoteApp that is used by some Windows 10 clients with different OS builds (currently 1803 and 1809);

We are experiencing a critical problem using this RemoteApp on the clients: when the program opens a popup window, this popup remains hidden behind the main window and so the program becomes unusable because doesn't respond anymore to the click of the user.

In this way the program is totally useless.
By reading some forums, we have already tried to disable the Use advanced RemoteFX graphics for RemoteApp group policy setting on the RD Session Host Server, and then setting to 0 the registry key
    ForegroundLockTimeout under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.

What we can do to make this program working as RemoteApp? Any available workaround?

    Thanks in Advance

add global group to remoteapp programs user assignment

Using Windows 10 Enterprise and RemoteApp on Server 2012 r2.

Original title: Windows 10 and RemoteApp.

Using Windows 10 Enterprise and RemoteApp on Server 2012 r2.

We've deployed Win 10 to a small handful of test users and the biggest issue we've seen so far is with RemoteApp. We're running MS Dynamics GP in a RemoteApp environment and it worked very well with Win 7 and 8.1 but since upgrading to Win 10, users are
finding that the File menus on the remote app do not work unless they click out of the remoteapp and then back into the remoteapp.

Obviously, for accounting personnel that spend all day in GP, this is a deal breaker for Win 10. Looking for any suggestions or ideas to resolve.

    Thank you.
