    Add IIS 6 features on Windows 10 1909 results in error 0x800f0922


    I've got a tool - Nodus eStore Advantage - with components required for a development project. eStore Advantage requires that "IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility" is enabled. Having come back to the project after a while, likely for the first time since Windows 10 was updated to build 1909, the project won't compile... and I noticed that the "IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility" option is no longer checked in Windows Features.


    When I try to turn "IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility" back on in Windows Features, it results in the message "Some features were not installed" and shows error code "0x800f0922".


    I have tried these command line tools, to no avail:
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth


    Help please!! Need to turn "IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility" on Windows 10 build 1909!

    Cannot enable IIS feature on windows 10, error code 0x800f0922

    I am trying to enable IIS on windows 10 (brand new update from windows 7) using "Turn Features On and Off". However, it ends with a message saying "Some features were not installed" and gives the error code 0x800f0922, which seems to be a generic error when
    a enabling a Windows Feature fails. Any ideas how to proceed?

    Windows Update Error 0x800f0922

    I run into this error while trying to install Request Monitor feature of IIS. In order to troubleshoot it, I would recommend checking:

    • CBS logs (C:\Windows\Logs\CBS)
    • DISM logs (C:\Windows\Logs\DISM)
    • ApplicationHost.config file (C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config)
    • The output of Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth command
    • Procmon logs (Use Process Monitor tool)

    In my case Procmon logs showed PARSE_ERROR_INFO while reading
    applicationHost.config file which was corrupted. Reinstalling IIS solved the issue. 0x800f0922 Update IIS-RequestMonitor
    of package IIS-WebServer-Core-Package failed

    Error 0x800F0922 when enabling media player in windows 10 1607

    Running Windows 10 (1607) - Media Feature is listed in the windows features - when I check to enable I get error 0x800F0922. .Net 3.5 fully enabled without errors. Need to enable Windows Media Features for some of the other applications to work. I have
    already tried various things including reinstalling 1607 - does not help. Desperate to get this fixed. Any suggestion is much appreciated.
