Windows 10: Add MAIL icon to control panel

At our job we have the icons users see on the control panel limited. We do this through group policies. All clients have Office 365 and work on Windows 11 23H2In User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel we user "Show only specified Control Panel items" to limit what they see.Now we want to add the Mail icon to this line-up. But I just can't find the cannonical name I can use to make this work. I have tried "Microsoft.Mail", "Mail Microsoft Outlook", "Mail Microsoft Outlook 2016", "Mail Microsoft Outlook 32-bit", "Mail Microsoft Outlook 32-bits", "Mail Microsoft Ou

Mail Icon missing in Windows 10 Control Panel

Hello,

In most cases, making changes to your email profile will require you to do it using the
Mail icon in the Control Panel. If the icon is missing, installing available

Windows updates can help you fix issues with missing icons in the Control Panel. To better assist you, we need the answers to the following questions:

• Is your computer connected to a domain?
• Are you using the Exchange server on your email?

In the meantime, we suggest using the search box in the Control Panel window and
type Mail to see if the applet will appear.

The Control Panel (Category View)

My apologies, Brink but I still do not get it.

The steps for both options are identical, the only difference is the location of the desired icons will need to be accessible for all users for Option 2. That's it.

Moreover, both the Mail and Flash Player (32-bit) applets are not listed in the list of Control Panel items for both options.

Control Panel Icons in Win10

If you change it to small icons just once then it should retain that setting as its default. The Registry change you mention was suggested by @RickC in Reg file to set CP to Small icons - RickC - TenForumsTutorials And using this shortcut to open Control panel should also do the trick.
