Windows 10: Add-On to create True Virtual Workspaces ?

I am looking for a Win10 add-on that creates true virtual workspaces. What I mean is independent workspaces, each with their own icons & background. So instead of all icons on one virtual desktop you could distribute them and use them as workspaces. I am sure this is NOT a simple request, but I believe it would be very useful. Thanks Jack

Windows Ink Workspace - Reset/Clearing Contents Programmatically

Hi Robert,

Windows Ink Workspace is part of the system icons. Just like the Start button, the process of Windows Ink Workspace is not going to present in Task Manager. If do not want your users to use the Windows Ink Workspace, we recommend that you disable it. You
can disable Windows Ink Workspace by following these steps:

• Click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Click the gear icon (Settings).
• Select Personalization.
• On the left pane, choose Taskbar.
• Under Notification area, click Turn system icons on or off.
• Locate Windows Ink Workspace, and then click the slider to turn it off.
• You will now notice that the Windows Ink Workspace is gone from the Taskbar.

If you still want to have a function that will allow you to automatically reset or clear the contents of Windows Ink Workspace, we recommend that you post your suggested function using the Feedback Hub like what was mentioned by
Erika Aro so that our Engineers can look into it and release your suggested feature on the next update of Windows 10.

Unable to create virtual hard drive

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



As you are trying to create a virtual machine, you can try creating a virtual hard disk manually by using PowerShell command and check if that helps.



Please follow the steps mentioned below to create virtual hard disk.

• Type PowerShell in the Windows start menu.
  
• Right click on PowerShell and select run as administrator.
  
• Please enter this command New-VHD "C:\Hyper-V\Virtual Machines\Drive1.vhdx" –size 60GB –dynamic
  and hit enter key. (Note: you can change the size of the virtual hard drive according to your requirement)
  
• Open Disk Management.
  
• Click on Action and select
  Attach VHD.​
  
• Click on Browser and navigate to the location
  C:\Hyper-V\Virtual Machines and select drive1 and click on
  Open.​
  
• Click on OK.​
  
• Now, right click on Disk 1 and select
  Initialize Disk.​
  
• Select the Type of partition you want to use and click on
  OK.​
  
• Now, right click on unallocated space and click on
  New Simple Volume.​
  
• Follow the on-screen instructions to assign a
  drive letter.

How to create virtual printer

Hi All,

I need a virtual printer that will convert a print stream to a pdf file and save it in local , i dont have any idea about how to create the virtual printer , can you please suggest me some open source

when user give print i need to ask user to login and after user authenticated he need to enter some fields,based on these fields i have to create folder and filename. and save pdf file in that location.
