I haven't seen a way to add icons to items in the Win+X menu.

If you like, items in the Start menu All Apps list will have icons on its items.

Remove Default Items on Win+X Quick Link Menu

    Hello, *Smile

Technically, that would be consider the "power menu" in the Win+X menu instead.

You could use an option in the tutorials below that best fits your needs to remove Shut down and Sign out, but it will do so from all power menus and for all users.
