Windows 10: Add or Remove Google Drive from Navigation Pane in Windows 10

For some reason, after installing it, whenever I try removing the old pinned version, it keeps restarting Explorer. When opening your registry entry though, it works.

 

Removing the old pinned version from where?

 

Oh yea, from Quick Access.

 

Odd. You might see if you may be able to unpin it from quick access after restarting the computer.

 

It seems as of July 12th, Google has consolidated both the Google Drive and Google Photos clients into one application, now called "Backup & Sync"

Would it be possible to update this thread to include both the legacy Google Drive and current Backup & Sync regedits @Brink? <3 *Biggrin

It appears that "Backup and Sync" is an app that will still work for Google Drive and Google Photos.

Hello Brink! I have moved my Google Drive folder to "C:\Users\\Documents\Google Drive", I'd appreciate it a lot if you could make a custom .reg for this location *Smile

I wasn't sure if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10, so I assumed 32-bit. If it's 64-bit, please let me know, and I'll post a version for it instead.
