How to Add or Remove Rotate Left and Rotate Right Context Menu in Windows 10


Windows 10 has a built-in feature to allow you to quickly rotate an image if needed.

You can rotate left to turn the selected image 90 degrees to the left.

You can rotate right to turn the selected image 90 degrees to the right.

This tutorial will show you how to add or remove the Rotate left and Rotate right context menu of image files for all users in Windows 10.

*Warning While you must be signed in as an administrator to add or remove the context menu, all users will be able to use the context menu if added.


EXAMPLE: "Rotate left" and "Rotate right" context menu






Here's How:

1. Do step 2 (add) or step 3 (remove) below for what you would like to do.


2. To Add "Rotate left" and "Rotate right" to Context Menu
*note This is the default setting.
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

3. To Remove "Rotate left" and "Rotate right" from Context Menu
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

4. Save the .reg file to your desktop.

5. Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.

6. When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.

7. You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.

Really needed to list more system specs and information on this issue.So this is assuming you have this and this is the issue.

Why does my screen not rotate?


The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
2. Click the Start
   
   menu and select Settings.
3. Click System.
4. Click Display.
5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.

 

How to remove 'Edit' and 'Print' from the context menu for images?

That's actually a pretty dandy program, though I've encountered an issue, so I hope you can help me.

I removed 'Set image to background', 'Edit', and 'Print' from the context menus for images, but now in their place 'Rotate Left' and 'Rotate Right' have appeared and the program doesn't seem to want to let me remove those particular options from the context menu?! Any help would be greatly appreciates!

Hi,

Rotating a photo within Fresh paint is currently unavailable. However, you may try these steps:

• Save the paint file.
  
• Open File Explorer.
• Open the location on where you saved the file.
• Right click on the paint file. Click on Rotate right or
  rotate left.

Screen auto-rotation on Windows 10 tablet?

My ACER iconia W4 820 had screen auto-rotation in Windows 8.1, but I can't seem to find this damn thing in Windows 10. I can manually rotate the screen, but it doesn't seem to use the sensor to auto detect the orientation. Where is it?
