Windows 10: Add Thorsten-Voice as free and german TTS Voice

Hello,my name is Thorsten Müller, i'm speaker of "Thorsten-Voice" a CC0 licenced german voice dataset for TTS model training usage.https://github.com/thorstenMueller/Thorsten-VoiceI have trained and released locally TTS models using Coqui TTS on Linux and Mac. But now i'm looking for an easy way to train a TTS model that can be easily used in Windows locally and/or by using Azure cloud.My voice datasets are in LJSpeech structure Wave files and metadata.csv with transribed texts.I've read about http://modeltalker.org - is this still the way to go and how can the TTS voice be used

I have trained and released locally TTS models using Coqui TTS on Linux and Mac. But now i'm looking for an easy way to train a TTS model that can be easily used in Windows locally and/or by using Azure cloud.

My voice datasets are in LJSpeech structure (Wave files and metadata.csv with transribed texts).

I've read about Creating Personal Voices For All - is this still the way to go and how can the TTS voice be used locally.

Honestly, as i'm no expert on newer Windows versions in TTS context, i'm not sure how to start.

As i contributed my voice under CC0 my voice can additionally be added to Azure.

Is it possible to change Cortana's TTS voice?


Is it possible to change Cortana's TTS voice to something from a different TTS voice provider such as, for example, IVONA? Alternatively would it be possible to morph the voice somehow, so it sounds different, kind of like those voice changer programs that people typically use on their own voices?

 

Can't get voice for TTS listed in Control Panel - Speech Properties

Hello,

I'm using Windows 10 22H2 19045.2251.

I already went to Windows Setting and added all the languages that I want and change the voice for TTS that I want to use:





The problem is that I have a particular program that uses the Windows 10 system option in order to Read Aloud text within the application. But the voice that it uses is not the one display in the above image, instead the application uses the voice that configured from Control Panel - Speech Recognition - Text to Speech - Voice Selection:





Problem is that the voices listed there are limited and the voices that were added at Windows Setting are not listed. Also you can see in the image that the "Settings" button is dimmed so apart from selecting a voice from the limited list I can't do anything else in Control Panel. The voices that are listed in Control Panel are only:

Microsoft David Desktop - English
Microsoft Helena - Spanish
Microsoft Sabrina - Spanish
Microsoft Zira Desktop - English

Do you know if it is possible to get the Languages-Voices that were added from Windows Settings listed in the Voice Selection option in Control Panel? The voices I will like to add at least are:

Microsoft Pablo
Microsoft Laura
Microsoft Raul
