In order to get back display in the control panel I had to go back to a previous build of windows 10 and go on a metered network. Will this problem ever be put right

Sorry I can't see what you mean.

I've just tried System Font Changer and it runs as a standalone program to allow you to change the fonts you wish. It doesn't appear in Control Panel or alter Control Panel items in any way.

As far as updates are concerned it won't alter those either. Updates you receive depend on what windows update sends to your device on a metered network. You won't receive Feature updates if you are still set to metered network.

    Hi Wally,

The feature to change certain text sizes in advanced display settings has been removed in Fall Creators Update.

fairly sure its not possible anymore

in older builds there was duplicate items in CP and the new Settings while they fully moved over to the Settings, once things got moved to Settings MS removed them from the CP

hmmm, I thought it was but I see it's not, however easy access:
    (left click) Start> Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update
    hmmm, Looking at:
(right click) Start> Control Panel.... I don't see it there...
Is that what you mean you want it listed in there ika? ...there's gotta be a simple way to put a simple shortcut to the listing in there...

I have not found out how to choose upgrades yet, they all seem to be automatic at the moment. I do want that feature back, just so I can check. I usually put them all in anyway.
