Windows 10: Adding a Watermark Overly on Windows 11 System-Level UI

Hello everyone,I have been trying to implement a C# WinFrom application that adds a watermark over all user’s screens as a TopMost overly which does not affect user’s interactions to make it easier to know from where the leak originated if the user take screenshots; which I partially achieved.Except there are some places where the user’s could take advantage of and take screenshots, those places mostly are Windows system-level UI; such as:- When the user clicks Win+Tab.- When the user clicks Alt+Tab.- When the user clicks Start menu.- When the user hovers over opened applications via Tas

But well, yeah, a slightly smaller watermark would do. Although you should still be able to place it at least, and not just be at the bottom like your suggestion.

 

Windows 10 home watermark (?)

Yeah I've never seen such a watermark before. I did do a reset with cloud install, but it's weird that it'd create that watermark. I'd try a Repair upgrade when I have the time to do so. The link you sent was for windows 11; do the same steps apply for windows 10?

I just got informed that windows 11 now has added a watermark on devices that don't support windows 11.

So I would recommend you go back to windows 10.
